Cantocuerdas 2021, the royal albillo from Bernabeleva, San Martín. Attention, traveller, you have before you a majestic example of a wine made from a rare sub-variety exclusive to our region. From almost century-old vines that absorb the quartz from their granitic soil. Aged for 11 months in French oak. It has the intensity and roundness of classic Albillo, with a persistent finish and a slight bitter touch.

Las Cabreras 2022, from the Tierra Calma winery in San Martín. A 100% Garnacha red wine whose owners select the grapes organically from the vine itself. Keeping few bunches so that the result is powerful. An old vineyard whose fruit spends 9 months ageing in French oak barrels. Stately, intense and with great volume. Long and lasting aftertaste.

El Altar 2021, by Daniel Ramos, El Barraco from the Cebreros D.O., made from old Garnacha vines, which spends more than a year ageing in French oak. El Surco from the Pie de Tierra winery, from the D.O. and the village of Méntrida. A wine made with care, observing the stars (biodynamic) and respecting the land. It matures for around 10 months in oak barrels. Its balance between acidity and astringency is surprising, providing a spark of freshness that will not leave you indifferent.

5 Hache from the Valdenoches winery, in the San Martín subzone of Madrid wines. This blanc de noir is pure alchemy. And you’ll be amazed when you taste it, because you won’t expect the flavour of this white wine made with red Grenache. I won’t tell you any more, or it will lose its mystery.

Kisu, from the Cható Gañan winery in Cebreros. As its name suggests, it’s a kiss. We could say it’s a grandmother’s kiss because the vines are around 90 years old. El Berrakin, with Grenache from several plots, all from the Cebreros D.O. and 10% of the exclusive ‘albillo real’. A smooth red with low acidity, which is welcome in a young wine. Unfiltered and unclarified, just as it is, natural. With a long and persistent finish.
